Schedule & Location

• Driver Shifts: 4 days per week (flexible scheduling)

• Operational Days: 7 days a week

• Hours: Approximately 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM

• Shift Duration: 8–10 hours per day

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older

• Valid U.S. driver's license

• Must successfully pass Drug Test

• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)

• Ability to navigate and follow GPS directions

• Comfortable working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment (includes bending and squatting)

• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers on assigned routes at all times

• Use handheld devices to access route and delivery information

• Be comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions

• Provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude

• Maintain high levels of safety and reliability while driving

Delivery Driver Helper

Job Description:

Join our team! At VIA Delivery & Logistics, we are an Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) hiring dependable and safety-focused Delivery Helpers to assist in delivering oversized and heavy packages. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a team environment, staying active, and providing excellent customer service. Helpers work alongside Delivery Drivers operating 18–24 ft box trucks and assist with loading, unloading, and in-home deliveries. No experience required. Paid training provided.

Location: 7520 Factory Shoals Rd, Austell, GA 30168

Full-Time | 8–10 hour shifts | Weekend availability required

Responsibilities:

• Assist the driver with approximately 10–15 XL deliveries per day

• Load and unload oversized and heavy packages safely

• Handle packages up to 70 lbs independently

• Assist with packages up to 300 lbs with a partner and proper equipment

• Use material handling equipment (dollies, straps, lift gate)

• Assist with in-home deliveries and basic setup when required

• Provide professional and positive customer service

• Work in various weather conditions

• Follow all safety and company procedures

What You'll Do: Delivery Driver Responsibilities

As a Non CDL Delivery Driver, you'll start and end each day at our Amazon warehouse located at 7520 Factory Shoals Rd SW, Austell, GA 30168. Working alongside a helper, you'll load your box truck with pre-sorted Amazon packages and head out on your delivery route.

- Safely operate an 18–24 ft box truck (Non-CDL) on your assigned delivery route

- Work with a helper to load and unload oversized delivery packages at the warehouse and on route

- Perform in-home deliveries and basic setup when required

- Use a company-provided handheld device for routing and delivery confirmation

- Deliver Amazon packages to homes, apartments, mobile home parks, and businesses

- Provide professional and positive customer service on every delivery

- Work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards

- Meet attendance, safety, and performance standards set by VIA Delivery & Logistics

Delivery Driver Requirements – No CDL Required

- Must be 21 years of age or older

- Valid U.S. driver's license (Non-CDL driver's license is acceptable)

- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

- Must complete DOT training and certification (provided and paid for by the company)

- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs independently

- Ability to handle packages up to 300 lbs with a partner and equipment

- Ability to walk up stairs and work in a physically demanding environment

- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

- Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

- Previous DOT certification is a plus

- Prior box truck or commercial driving experience is a plus

- Having a CDL is a plus
